Problem

MARCH Pump manufactures precision pumps for OEM, chemical, industrial and solar applications. The company specializes in custom-built pumps to meet unusual applications, but this critical capability was not being effectively communicated to target audiences in any of March’s marketing efforts.



Solution

Rather than focus on the pumps themselves, FUSION took a radically different approach: Develop a series of trade ads that highlight the application. We consulted closely with March product managers to find unusual, high-profile, and in many cases–unexpected–applications. Bold, sexy photographs of racecars, NASA satellites, and mountain climbing expeditions showed March Pumps playing a critical role. The headline: You’ll find March Pumps where you least expect them. And most need them.
